Job Summary

Under the direction of the Shipping Supervisor will follow all established procedures and policies while prioritizing safety, quality and efficiency to meet the goals of the company.

Responsibilities

  • The Production Assistant is responsible for following all safety and quality procedures
  • Use ERP to update BOM’s
  • Create product labels
  • Create, print, update job orders
  • Verify all job order transactions accurate and close job orders
  • Deliver job orders to machines
  • Perform daily/weekly cycle counts as requested
  • Ensures that orders are created and staged correctly for each machine
  • Maintain accurate and timely data in the ERP system including master records, BOM’s, etc.
  • Collect and package sample requests
  • Perform weekly core inventory counts
  • Assist with end of the month inventory counts
  • Coordinate & issue work orders to IT team to resolve computer software matters
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a group
  • High school diploma, General Education Degree (G.E.D.) or equivalent experience
  • Ability to use ERP system and supporting software
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, ERP systems and other company-specific software programs as needed
