Job Summary
Under the direction of the Shipping Supervisor will follow all established procedures and policies while prioritizing safety, quality and efficiency to meet the goals of the company.
Responsibilities
- The Production Assistant is responsible for following all safety and quality procedures
- Use ERP to update BOM’s
- Create product labels
- Create, print, update job orders
- Verify all job order transactions accurate and close job orders
- Deliver job orders to machines
- Perform daily/weekly cycle counts as requested
- Ensures that orders are created and staged correctly for each machine
- Maintain accurate and timely data in the ERP system including master records, BOM’s, etc.
- Collect and package sample requests
- Perform weekly core inventory counts
- Assist with end of the month inventory counts
- Coordinate & issue work orders to IT team to resolve computer software matters
- Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a group
- High school diploma, General Education Degree (G.E.D.) or equivalent experience
- Ability to use ERP system and supporting software
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, ERP systems and other company-specific software programs as needed
